Campout Memories

The campout was an overwhelming success. Several of us arrived Friday night
and stayed until Sunday afternoon. Others arrived Saturday for the weekend
and still more came just for the day Saturday. A big hearty thanks goes to
those on the campout committee who organized the event; Bryan Bennett, Joe
Siino, Lisa Rothrock, Brook Sandford and Scott Bardenhagen. Thanks also
to Ray Tell for arranging the 2 kegs of Golden Ale from Rio Bravo and to
Gordon Olson and Mike Hall for hauling them to the campout. The potluck
Saturday was really memorable, we had jambalya, salads, burgers, hot dogs,
hash, blackened boy scout stew, fresh cranked raspberry/strawberry frozen
yogurt and probably other stuff I can't remember. Yumm!

We had good food, good company, a rousing game of horseshoes and beer left
over at the end of the weekend despite the valiant efforts of many. What
more can you ask for?
