Meeting Location
CARBOY’s monthly meetings are currently held at the BB&Y Restaurant. BB&Y is located on the first floor of the Caswell Building at 3700 National Drive, in the Koger Center off Glenwood Avenue in West Raleigh. Owner Nick Jones allows CARBOY to meet monthly at his restaurant when we don’t have picnics or field trips scheduled. BB&Y is open for lunch each week-day. We encourage members to visit BB&Y for a relaxed informal meal. Please let Nick now you’re from CARBOY when you visit his restaurant.

January 2008 Meeting Minutes

Shamrock Open 2008- This years Shamrock was a huge success. Special thanks go out to Bill Dubbas our Registrar, Mike Dixon for his work as Judge Coordinator, Glenn Water for being ourCellar Master, Mitch Hayes and Michael Welch our Head Steward and Raffle Coordinators, and the Competition Organizers Dave Buning and Jim Brewer. NHC First Round Judging- CARBOY, along with several other NC Homebrew clubs, will be judging the South Region entries for the NHC First Round. Judging will take place on Saturday April 19th and 26th.  If you are an experienced judge and can help out please contact Mike Dixon

AHA National Homebrewers Conference- This years conference will be held June 19th-21st in Cincinnati. CARBOY has already volunteers to serve our beer at Club Night and defend our crown as 'Best Homebrew Club' at club night. Each year our club has had a larger group attend this event and we're hoping to continue this trend. You can find more info about this event HERE.
