Meeting Location
CARBOY’s monthly meetings are currently held at the BB&Y Restaurant. BB&Y is located on the first floor of the Caswell Building at 3700 National Drive, in the Koger Center off Glenwood Avenue in West Raleigh. Owner Nick Jones allows CARBOY to meet monthly at his restaurant when we don’t have picnics or field trips scheduled. BB&Y is open for lunch each week-day. We encourage members to visit BB&Y for a relaxed informal meal. Please let Nick now you’re from CARBOY when you visit his restaurant.

June 2008 Meeting Minutes

AHA NHC 2008- Jim Navecky gave a recap of the happenings in Cincinatti at the 2008 Nation Homebrewer's Convention. NHC 2009 is scheduled for the San Fransisco Bay Area

BJCP Exam- A BJCP exam will be given in Raleigh on Saturday, June 19th. Cost for paid CARBOY members is $20. For more info contact Mike Dixon

Mead Day 2008- To be held Saturday, August 2nd. Todd Wenzel will once again host this event. Contact Todd for additional information.

Oktoberfest - The annual CARBOY Oktoberfest Picnic will be held Spet.20th at the usual Montegue Lake location.

Newly elected officers - A new (or at least partially new) slate of officers were elected. See below for the currently elected officers.

Dues Due - 2008/2009 dues of $15 are due as of July 1st.
