Has anyone ever heard of a green tea mead?

How about pomegranate?

I found bottles of pomegranate juice and thought it would make an interesting mead. A bit pricey, however, at $4 per pint for the juice.

As someone who made a margarita mead - Why not? It might turn out really well, and there's only one way to find out.

cheesehead - The pomegranate sounds like a cool idea.
As far as the green tea, hey, you never know..... My wife made wine with apricot tea and it turned out pretty good. I guess if you really like green tea, it might be worth a shot. Cheers, Tim
