I don't know how to contact BYO regarding this article but since you work with them, you might have a faster in-road. Also, delete this post once you read it. In the following article" The 10 Easiest Beer Styles Jan, 2005 by Garrett Heaney..." there is a reference to using hops in all the beer recipes, in this case Northern Brewer is mentioned. Guess what, it is underlined and listed as a link to Northern Brewer, the store. Thought you might want someone to correct that. You'll immediately see what I mean. Ted |

Perhaps BYO editor Chris Colby, who often reads and sometimes posts messages to B&V, will see this. I'm not sure I would say I "work" for BYO, but I am a contributor. |

BYO has been doing that for years with all their references to Northern Brewer hops. I attribute it to the use of a web programmer who's not a homebrewer. (Message edited by gberon on January 06, 2005) |

Our (BYO's) web site is hosted by Real Beer. All uses of various company names -- advertisers at Real Beer, I assume -- on Real Beer's site get hyper-linked to the company's web site. I assume this linking is automatic. Chris Colby Bastrop, TX |
