It appears that Pat is having server and DNS problems. Acting as your own host affords a great deal of flexibility but also has its own issues. |

I notice that there are (currently) eight votes for Skotrat's sublime Cliff posting.... Who's voting for posts but not actually posting? Voting for whether or not you like a post is gay, not that I have anything against gayness per se, but nonetheless anonymously voting for posts is gay. |

If you don't vote at all, isn't that implictly a vote? So shouldn't you just always post so as not to continue with the gayness Adam W pointed out of voting without posting? |

Denny, do I get to hold a filibuster during the confirmation hearings? I can recite homebrew recipes. I seem to recall that Huey Long once held the Senate floor for 15 hours with a speech that included recipes for "pot-likkers." |

Chumley, That would be unfair... I actually think that Fredrik and Bill Pierce (Cliff Claven) should be removed from the Ballot. Reason being... Only those who actually brew should be allowed to be elected. Those who just talk about it on a chronic theory level should not be counted. Just my two cents... -Scott (Message edited by skotrat on May 10, 2005) |

Just to make things clear, I'm no homophobe. If the internet has taught me anything, it's that two hot women "chowing" down on each other is a beautiful thing. I was merely using "gay" in the funny perjoritive sense. Like when Jeff Spicoli says, "Those guys are fags!" Sincerely, Adam W P.S. to establish my homebrewer street cred: I do in fact make beer at home. Last brew was 15 gallons of stout on May 1st 2005. |

I don't have anything to add, it's just that, well, I don't think I've ever had a vote, and it seems like just posting to this thread will get you a vote...and I just thought, you know, maybe my 50th post could be something special, and, I don't know, maybe I would get a vote or something...you know, cause I never had one before and such. NOTE: I think I will be upset if such a shameless pity play for a vote actually gets rewarded |

I hadn't paid attention to this thread until I saw all the posts to it on the main page. I wondered to myself "what the heck could all those be about?" and realized PTA got his "On Topic" thread all over again without even trying. There's no way I'd vote Chumley or Denny in as justices, we already have a Supreme Court that's almost entirely full of leftwing constitution re-writing activists judges! I suppose the socialists have to force their power on us somewhere since they can't get elected anymore!! HAHAHAHAHAHA! |
