OK... I am turning 30 this year and that means the wifey may be buying me something nice. I am about to politely suggest a kegerator for the bar I am going to build in my basement. Any suggestions on where to buy one and where the best prices are? I am not looking for a huge one. One big enough to hold either a 1/2 keg or two or three cornies.

Hey Now,
I would look around in your area for a used rest. supply place and start there... Sometimes you can get a great deal...
If you want something that just holds a couple three cornies then check out SAMs CLUB, The Home Depot and/or LOWE's
I have seen a dorm fridge type unit at Home Depot for less than $200.
Go for it!

I would check at Homedepot. Some of our local stores had them for a while and sold them deeply discounted when there was no demand. If not in stock ask about them. Several local appliance stores have them or will special order for you. Price shop! I had an older Beverage Air that served me well. (compressor finally died) Now I have a converted chest freezer and love it. |

Oh c'mon! Grow some nuts and tell her you deserve nothing less than this for such an important day. If she puts up a fight remind her how much that ring on her finger costs and ask if she has bought you anything even close to that value.
