I'm kegging my "Wee Heathery" (wee heavy, no hops, just heather) this week, and I was going to force carb it but I was wondering if using something else to prime like black treacle or molasses would be beneficial. I have used honey, molasses, brown sugar, candi sugar, etc. with mixed results, but this time I thought using one of the "heavy" sugars might be good in a beer like this. Experiences? Thoughts?
Thanks!
