I will be taking a road trip through central California tomorrow, returning Friday. I’ll be going down 99 to Bakersfield, east on 58, south on 14 through Lancaster/Palmdale then east on 138 to the thriving metropolis of Phelan, Ca. Anybody have advice on any breweries/pubs along the way? I’d want someplace to get something to go, ‘cuz of the drinking/driving thing. Thank, and Happy Thanksgiving Michale |

If you were on the central coast: S.L.O., Paso, or even Lockwood & Jolon, I would chime in, but then again, it's been almost 20 years since I stomped that terra. Give a man a beer and he'll waste an hour. Teach a man to brew and he'll waste a lifetime.
