I will be taking a road trip through central California tomorrow, returning Friday. I’ll be going down 99 to Bakersfield, east on 58, south on 14 through Lancaster/Palmdale then east on 138 to the thriving metropolis of Phelan, Ca.
Anybody have advice on any breweries/pubs along the way? I’d want someplace to get something to go, ‘cuz of the drinking/driving thing.

If you were on the central coast: S.L.O., Paso, or even Lockwood & Jolon, I would chime in, but then again, it's been almost 20 years since I stomped that terra.
