New England Regional Home Brew Competition - Call for Judges
We are still looking for BJCP-qualified judges for this competition at the
beginning of November. We have great sponsors lined up for each category
and terrific judge and steward swag. Please pass this along to your fellow
club members and potential judges.
Here's the info:
The Second Annual New England Regional Home Brew Competition hosted by
Brew Free or Die and the Southern Maine Home Brewers is looking for judges
to score entries and stewards for this competition. This is a fund raiser
for the American Cancer Society in memory of Brew Free or Die member and
BJCP judge Donald Merkey. The competition is a BJCP Registered and
Sanctioned event and all 28 categories will be judged.
This year's judging will be held at Milly's Tavern in Manchester, NH.
Judging will begin at 9:00 AM sharp on Saturday, November 3. In order to
allow us to pre-assign judges and stewards to categories and to begin
judging on time, we need to know which categories you have entered and
which you feel qualified/prefer to judge. Please fill out the online
Judge/Steward registration form on http://www.bfd.org/NERHBC by Friday,
October 26. Please also indicate whether you are able to assist in
pre-judging flights in Manchester, New Hampshire. Morning coffee, tea, and
donuts will be served on competition day and lunch will be provided to all
judges and stewards.
