For any B&Vers interested. . .
The Bay Street Bash homebrew competition will be held on Saturday, November 14. Entries will be received from October 15 – November 4. The competition will include all beer and cider categories, Styles 1-23, 27-28 (we hold a separate mead-only competition in February so plan to enter it as well). As in the past, the winning Best of Show beer will be “guest-brewed” and put on tap at Moon River Brewing Company in addition to other prizes, ribbons and accolades bestowed upon all the winners.
For convenience, we will plan to have a drop-offs at local hb shops in Atlanta, Athens, Jacksonville, and Columbia.
We also need certified judges. Once again, we will have a few tickets available for the Roundhouse Blues & BBQ event for those out-of-towners who can help us out on a first-come first-served basis.
The Bash has a new venue this year: at The Distillery, 416 West Liberty Street, downtown and near the Roundhouse and all the other action. They have a great selection of beers for socializing after the Bash.

got my O-fest in kegs this weekend! I also have an ABC that is probably ready enough to siphon off a couple bottles, and a Christmas Spice & RIS in secondary. The RIS will be young, but WTF...

Chris,
I am not going to have time to bottle before next week. I leave for Wisconsin tomorrow morning and return on Monday.
Is there any way I can sneak under the bar next weekend? |

Enter online and send beers. As long as they get here by Friday the 6th, we'll be good for Nov 7 prelim round. |
