Hi guys.I'm moving into a new house soon, and wanted to take my 1 year old hop rhizomes with me.What exactly do I do?I was going to just dig them up and rinse them off. Then store them with damp paper in a baggie in the fridge...
Any thoughts?
Cheers,brewzz

That's the way they arrive when I have ordered them, so it sounds fine. I would get them in soil soon, though. I don't know how well or how long they would survive in that state.

After you replant them, it will be like starting over so don't expect much the first year.

Just wondering how long I can delay planting them.I will need to build a new fenced garden first.

They won't take off until the spring, anyway. So, in the Northern Hemisphere you have at least a few months before they'll start growing above ground.
