Playing Grand Theft Auto IV these days (yeah, yeah, laugh it up), and what did I find in a ramshackle run-down house over in Jersey? Two corny kegs. The mind boggles as to who decided to model cornies and stick them in the game! Man, I wish I could have taken a screen shot...or taken them with me! Joakim, still a long way from adulthood... |

For a while, cornies were popular with people making methamphetamines at home. That sounds totally in keeping with the spirit of the game. |

Seriously? That would explain it, but it's a lot less funny explanation that I wanted. I was imagining a coder who was also a homebrewer, who snuck this in right under the nose of his superviser. Oh well... |

"For a while, cornies were popular with people making methamphetamines at home. That sounds totally in keeping with the spirit of the game." Yikes! I hope that's not too common knowledge! People who drive by my house probably already think I'm distilling with those big SS vessels in my garage, and at any given time I can be cleaning a number of cornies in the driveway. I can just imagine what they are thinking! |

I recall a rural meth lab bust a few years ago that made the local TV news here. They showed at least a dozen 5 and 10 gallon cornys that were seized along with a bunch of other stuff. |

Mike, you've already been pegged by your neighbors, no sense in fighting it! |

So, back to GTA IV: are you supposed to steal all the lab's money and set the lab on fire? |
