I had my grain milled at the LHBS, stopped off at the store to pick somethings up for my SWMBO, and forgot to take out the grain when I got home. Well here in Phx the temps inside a closed vehicle can reach over 150's so did I mess-uped the grain by leaving it out there all day? I'm gonna brew with it anyways, but I don't know what I will get, by the way the truck now smells so very good!! John |

I'm sure they got hotter than that when they were kilned. I think you'll be alright. |

Next time, soak them in water before you leave them in the 150° car... |

Hey, that's a good idea! That's kind of like a solar powered mash tun! |

John, all you did was give the grain weavels heat stroke. Nice move! I live in Phx too, and may have to try your new technique. |

>>>>Next time, soak them in water before you leave them in the 150° car...>>>> ...and they spent $18,000 on Monster Garage to do the same thing. You need a reality show, WJ. |
