I am a new AG brewer and have seen many recipes for extract and wanted to know how to change it to an AG. Is it safe to assume that Light or Pale LME/DME can be replaced with 2-row? On top of that, how many lbs of 2-row would replace a lb of LME or DME? |

it's depends on your eff.
to = 5 gal of 0.05 SG beer
use
5.5 lbs DME or
7 lbs LME or
9 lbs pale malt @ 75% eff or
10.5 lbs pale malt @ 65% eff
get promash if you want to convert recipes
