Yeah, none of them is related except for a distant cousin with the same name who is occasionally credited for arranging the music in Hollywood films. I have had an e-mail exchange with the jazz guitarist, and I used to get drunken calls from bars for the baseball ex-pitcher when I lived in Chicago (he spent most of his career with the White Sox).
There is also a Baptist preacher in Rockwall, Texas, a motivational speaker in New Jersey, a former columnist for Popular Photography and an adoption advocate in Des Moines, Iowa.
