This a variation on a stew.
On the show they used Chimay Red.

I threw in a couple spuds, per the stew recipe, and some sliced mushrooms.

I'm waiting for my second batch to finish right now.

Chimay makes an EXCELLENT addition to beef stews or other dishes. Give the beef a wonderful taste and in addition the bottles are large enough that there's always plenty left over for the cook!
