I'm thinking about buying another Perlick faucet for my kegerator. From their website it looks like the 525 is the new and improved model. So why is it $10 cheaper than the 425 on ebay?

Does anybody have experience with the 525? The three working ones I have currently are the 425ss which I bought used and have been very happy with. (I bought a fourth at the same time that would not fit the shank).

They are cheaper because they don't have an internal shaft or a removeable spout. But I they are still "forward seal" and I think they are still all stainless.

If you didn't care about a removable spout, would you buy the 525?

I have two of the 525's and I like them better. The handle moves easier and the faucet flow is smoother than the older model. Cleaning should be easier with less internal parts too.
