I noticed the CO2 tank connected to my keggerator was way down in the red. The connect date was Nov 2007...not bad for a dedicated tank. Now I have two empties, better get them filled while it's legal and available.

Can you speculate on how much beer was moved with them? Are they used to carbonate as well as serve? These are common questions we here a lot.

I just filled my 5 kg today. It lasted about a year of fairly heavy use. I carbonate and serve with the same bottle.

Dan,
The 20# was dedicated only to serving, so 65 to 75 gallons a year~
I only open the valve when I pull a few to prevent loose connection leakage. Not all of my kegs are as tight as I would like
