Anybody tried this yet? Got all the way to the counter with it and then the $16 sticker shock set in. I like Duvel and I like hops, but that's my beer budget for a week or two! |

I've had it. I paid $20 for it!
Nice beer but not worth the price imo. Lot's of phenolics with spicy, fruity esters mixed with grassy, herbal hops. I shared a bottle with 4 people and that was enough for me.
I too love regular Duvel. |

I'm just thrilled to hear its in the US. A Flemish friend told me about this a few years ago. I begged him to mail me some but he said it was a limited edition and he drank all of his. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to call around and see if anyone has it. Thanks for the heads up! |
