How about adding a new topic section called beginners. Questions from beginners like me could be answered by experienced brewers.

How about adding a search engine.

See question above regarding search engine.

Per separating beginners from experienced, there would be nothing to prevent mixing of messages between the two; plus there are those who would post their question to both, anyway. I prefer this method for my convenience (I have veryu little time in which to manage this board) and sanity (I have little of that, too).
