I need about 10 Faucets. Anyone have any thoughts on these faucets and that device that is supposed to somehow correct any problems in serving pressur? |

at $37 a pop I'd stick with the regular myself but it is a nice looking tap. |

I have three of them and they are pretty nice (I bought them directly from the manufacturer about 6 months ago). Maintenanace on them is much easier becuse there are no vent holes as with standard faucets. In addition, it appears that Rapids and Superior are carrying them now for only $25 a pop... Don't waste your time with the restriction device, just get longer tubing. |

I just received the tap from Vent Matic. this is a quality tap. I also like the design. A quality piece of equipment. |

John- Where'd you get them? I want to replace my taps with them. I'm sick of having stuck taps in the winter and nasty stuff growing in them in the summer. Yeah, I could clean them every other day, but that's not going to happen. |

Adam W, Rapids and Superior? I'm not familiar with that one, is it a local store? |

I have one VentMatic and three restrictor taps. The restrictor taps are nice but finicky and prone to sticking without constant cleaning. The Vent matic is a quality, problem free product. |

Does Superior carry them? I don't see the Ventmatic anywhere on their website. Didn't see it on Rapids either, and a e-mail response from Rapids says they don't carry it. |

I couldn't find the vent-matics on the Superior Site, or in their catalog. Morebeer has them at $44 Northern brewer $36.95 I'm tired of my faucets sticking, so I think I'm going to switch mine over. The prices are a little steep, but all I've heard are good things about them |

They are not listed as ventmatic faucets in Superior or Rapids, but they are there. Just look for the faucet that looks exactly like the Ventmatic. They are not on either of the websites however. |

Looks like NB is the best option. I found the faucets in the Rapids catalog and tried to order one. Turns out they can't sell it anymore- the guy I spoke to on the phone said that there was a patent lawsuit involving the faucet. They are listed in the catalog as being made by Perlick. I guess they 'borrowed' the design and Ventmatic didn't like it. |

I just did a group buy of them (67 total), so far everyone has really liked them. In fact, two brew pubs in Minnesota (Great Waters and Fitgers) now use them for all their taps. I got 5 for myself but am still waiting on shanks. I would personally go with Northern Brewer. Their price is fair and service is great. |
