I have an Alt that was bottled 6 weeks ago and is barely carbonated. Must have made a priming mistake. Would I get oxidation problems if I opened each bottle, added a PrimeTab, and immediately recapped? |

No problem, Marv. That's the usual procedure. However, you may find that you need 2-3 tablets for a reasonable level of carbonation. |

Think Bill's right about needing 2-3 tablets. I used to have to use 4-5 per bottle for non-carbonated beer. What temp have the bottles been stored at? |

Someone should also point out the need to work quickly. Dropping anything into a liquid that is even slightly carbonated will gush and foam like a mad dog. PTA |

hey Marv, at what temp were those bottles ? if they were in a cold basement, you may just have to move them to a warmer room (70ish) |

Bottles are stored in basement at 60. Yeast is WY1007. Basement was 57 during primary ferment. Got 77% attenuation. |

move them to a warmer room (70) for 1-2weeks, BEFORE you mess with them, it may save you alot of hassle |
