No cooking today, it's much too hot. I got up early to brew, so I wouldn't heat up the house too much. We just got back from my kid's baseball game and I feel sick from the heat. Maybe a beer will help.

I floated the Big Hole on Sunday, caught a bunch of trout and whitefish, and drank a couple of pints of Cascade APA/IPA when I got home. Standard recipe, but the first use of the CL50 yeast, and I have to say I like it. Its a pity that I have a whole keg of this beer on tap, with 5 gallons of DC Rye IPA in the secondary waiting to replace it when the tap finally goes phsssssttt!!!
