I'm in a slight bind. It turns out that we need to brew this weekend, but there's no way I'll have time to go to the other end of the city to pick up ingredients. So I am stuck with the dust on the bottom of my grain bin...which includes: 11-12 lbs of American 2-row pale, a pound or so of melanoidin, half a pound of munich, and some 40L, 60L, and other dark stuff. For hops, all I have is hallertau. I want to make something that has peaches or the juices of peaches in it...something fruity. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! This will take all of your creative powers. I also have a Good Foods health/organic style place nearby which can provide certain adjuncts...but they don't have anything malted. Thanks! Michael |

Michael - I've got a really good IPA that uses that malt profile if you want it. You'd have to use a lot of your hallertauer, but it could be good. email me at nszeigler AT gmail.com |
