Hey Bill, Looks like it is pretty small (44 lbs) uses r-12, you need to be certified or find someone certified to refill (not hard to do, I'm r-12 certified) and looks like it uses a small cooling chamber "plastic cooling tank measures 9" x 5" x 8" inside" I'm guessing it would be similar to a water fountain. It's nice and cold if it's been sitting there for a little while but pipe temperature after the guy will the big gulp cup. I imagine you would need to pipe a little in the chamber, wait 10 minutes, pipe wait ... I could be way off but it just looks too small. George |

looks to me like they took off the SS and maybe even the thermocouple metal for salvage and then they have this Freon disposal problem and figure its cheaper to sell it than to pay for the freon removal?? They might have even taken out the carbonator re resale. Very small chamber. Only thing I can think of is to sit next to the pool to keep 3 beers cold. |

I can't tell from the writeup if the system is still charged with refrigerant. I was thinking about using the flexible cooling jacket for chilling fermenters. Or use the cooling to chill down the water bath that I keep my fermenters in. |

I agree with ELK, likely trying to pass off controlled waste. Even if it works, at only 200 BTUs it's a bit small for even three beers unless you put them in prechilled! I wouldn't bother. |
