I entered my last bottle of Skotrats Imperial Russian Stout in the most recent comp. It scored 128 out of a possible 150 and missed out winning the champion beer of show to a Oktoberfest by 3 points. That Oktoberfest must have been bloody good! I'm chuffed that I ranked second out of all the entries but most of all I'd like to thank Skotrat for sharing his recipe. I made few changes to it to suit my set up but by and large it's all Skotrats. So Skotrat, I'll share this one with you |

WOW! That is great Brett but although the recipe is good... The brewer makes the beer. 128 out of 150 would make me extremely proud. Did you get anything cool for your winning? I won a BOS with that recipe and received a beautiful stein that is one of the only beer awards that I actually display Great Job |

Can one of you post the recipe? I have an Imperial Stout planned soon. Cheers, Jim |
