I was struck and saddened by the death of a man so young and full of energy to promote the hobby that gives me such joy.
Last night when I got home from work, I pulled out an article from Brewing Techniques on oxidation that I have refered to on a regular basis for several years. I have never paid attention to the author - until last night - George Fix. Then, I pulled out my worn copy of Oktoberfest to reread a couple of the ideas - sure enough, the authors were George and Laurie Fix. My Library is full of George Fix materials that have been my friends for many years.
Your legacy will live on among many homebrewers. But, you will be missed.
