would it be at all beneficial to fwh some of the willamette hops in this brew or just follow the recipe as it stands??

It's an interesting thought, liza. Why don't you try an ounce of Willamettes as FWH and reduce the late hop addition accordingly. Let us know how it turns out. St. Chuck's is hardly a hop giant but it has enough hop flavor to be interesting.
