Has anyone every heard of cleaning really dirty bottle and wine bottles with Salt Rocks and Rubbing alcohol? A friend gave me a bunch of bottles and said the quick way to clean them is by pouring a little rubbing alcohol and some salt rocks in it and shake it to clean the inside...then rinse and santize like normal.....

I agree with Mike, but, sometimes I like to bottle a few. I clean the nasty ones with a soak in hot water and TSP. works every time
