I had the pleasure of hooking up with the one and only Bill Pierce recently at a small pizzeria in Ohio. Here's a picture of the gathering:

With us is his super personable and lovely SO, and my SO too.  The 1.5 liter growler contained a Vienna lager of mine that got us started. Good beer, food, and conversation. That Bill Pierce is all right. A very, very enjoyable evening!

He looks pale and gaunt. I think he needs to bag the Weight Watchers diet, and start drinkg 3-4 pints of homebrew a night that gives us portly gentlemen our fine "corn-fed" look. |

Where are all the fans seeking autographs in that picture? And I agree with David W...I pictured a mash paddle staff in one hand and a magic hydrometer wand in the other with a pointy hat and robe with stars and moons on it and a hard bound edition of "The Original Joys of..." book under one arm.

I always pictured Bill with grey hair but a more round head and corn fed body hunched over a bike in Kanas somewhere...It looks like you could still hang in the thin air up here Bill!
