I just received a pound each of EK Goldings and Fuggles leaf hops. The Fuggles have a floral aroma in the bag, and the EKGs basically just stink. Does this sound right? Were the labels switched by mistake? I'm not sure how either hop is supposed to smell in the bag, but for some reason I thought EKGs were more floral while Fuggles had a funkiness about them. Jim

Poor Fuggles! They always get picked on. I'd guess that your EKG are old, because they should have a nice grassy, floral nose to them. Not stinky or cheesy! CHEERS! Beertracker "From man's sweat and God's love, beer came into the world." ~ Saint Arnold of Metz (580-640) - Patron Saint of Brewers
