I perused the archives last night and saw reference to a Sorghum Porter experiment by Tim Roth and PTA . . I also saw a follow-up by PTA that indicated his Sorghum Blond Porter didn't quite meet expectations. Have there been further attempts, or has anyone else found a successful way to utilize the flavoring characteristics of sorghum molasses in any recipe? |

I haven't done another - not because it didn't taste bad, it just didn't live up to my expectations. If I attempted again, I would use quite a bit more sorghum, possibly as a additon to primary/secondary. Tim's version was much better than mine but still was lacking the.... "sorghasmic" flavor.
