Clean-up area. The unfinished wall is where the opening to family room will be for the bar.

Current serving area and fermenting cooler. I have a lagering fridge in the other part of the basement.

I'm impressed. There's even room for a small lab in the planning/measuring area, and I assume that's a recessed exhaust hood above the brewing stand. If you had a floor drain it would be just about perfect. You should be able to brew some excellent beer. All the best to you. |

Thanks for the feed back. I didn't want to trench the floor for a drain. I am hoping to do some lab work there in the future. The hood is 6'x3'x6" with inline vent fan. |

Phase 2 and 3 have been taking place at the same time. Phase 2 has a small fermentation closet and cold room to take the place of the chest freezers. You can see them taking shape in the background. I'll ferment on the right and serve out of the one on the left. A new bar will take the place of the countertop with the taps beside the coldroom.

I have it set up right now to use the CFC as my Herms. Once the hoses are hooked up the only swap I make is from the MLT outlet to the BK outlet, both are on the top tier. So far it has been very easy to clean.

There is a 5500W electric element in the BK and the HLT. They are controlled by PIDS. The pick up in this HLT now picks up in the center.

Patrick, I'm going to use an air conditioner to cool the serving closet and then pull cool air from there to the fermentation closet. There is also a receptacle in the fermentation closet if I need heat. Hacker, I'm not an electronic geek, I had help from a friend.

The 2 upper right switches control the pumps. One is PID controlled or hand the other is hand only. The green switch controls power to the upper right PID which is the MT recirc pump. The upper black switch on the left controls the upper left PID which is the BK element. The lower left black switch controls the lower left PID which is the HLT element.
