After ten years the family beagle learned to over turn the garbage can. Assorted stratigies have seemed to not have produce the result we were looking for so we bought a beagle proof garbage compactor. What a cool machine? It is like the garbage just disappears. The pile never seems to get deeper. We just may get to only needing to take the garbage out once a week assuming it does not start to smell bad. We bought a Sears. So far, so good!

Dan,
Garbage compactors are like crack. Once you have one you can't do without. The house we live in had one when we moved in. We love it. Ours is also a sears. One piece of advice, food stuff that smells bad and glass bottles, keep separate and take it out every day. The compactor can bust glass but it will punch holes in the bag. |
