I'm all excited about a trip I'm taking to Belgium tomorrow. Several months ago, I managed to reserve a space for the Orval "Open Door" days at the Brewery. I have no idea if this is actually a brewery tour or if it's just access to the Abbey grounds but for certain, I'm off to Belgium in the morning. We're staying at the inn associated with Chimay after the tour. My wife and daughter are coming with me and my bride's a history teacher so we're going to Bastogne on the way home to do some historical tourism.
No doubt, a great way to spend a Friday and Saturday. |
