Who knows, Denny. Not all conservatives are strong Bush supporters. Pat Buchanan, for example, is urging people to sit out the election.
Robertson has his own political agenda, as has been demonstrated in the past. He has been accused of exaggeration and selectively interpreting the facts, but not of outright lying.
In his book, Plan of Attack, about the events leading up to the US invasion of Iraq, journalist Bob Woodward, whose politics cut both ways, insists that Bush agonized on the eve of the invasion over the potential for casualties.
I suppose a cynic could claim the President said one thing to someone whom he believed was sympathetic to him and another when he thought the remarks were for the public record.
As I said, it's hard to know what to say.

Of course it's hard to say, Bill..we weren't there to hear! I just find it interesting that a politician is accusing a minister of lying. Something about a pot and a kettle...
