As most homebrewers probably have, I first heard of George Fix by way of his books on homebrewing.
I first met George in person at the MCAB2 in St. Louis. I met him again at the MCAB3 in Berkeley.
George was truly a great source of brewing knowledge. He was also inspiring person to meet since you could immediatly sense the passion he had for the hobby and his eagernees to share his knowledge.
George, you will be missed by many. Rest in peace.
