as a preservative, and helps in head retention. Without hops you might as well
be drinking Coors Light.
It's time to celebrate!!!
Come out and join us as we honor this
mighty plant with
HOPTOBERFEST, a celebration of
hops!
This years celebration may be replacing the Pumpkin Brew-in held in the
past, but it's guaranteed to be the same type of get together - fun, fun, fun.
If you've never been to one of the Pumpkin brew-ins held in the past, then go here and see what
you've been missing. There will be a smoker on site for cooking up brauts and
other goodies throughout the day. This is to keep your innards happy until
dinnertime, when we'll dine on several types of meat, veggies and more! Brad
Berven is this years host. There may be a Pumpkin Ale for sampling along with
other fine homebrews from members of the club. There will also be numerous
homebrew systems brewing up who knows what! And this year the Cap and Hare brewclub
will be bringing their monster brew system for the Knights to play with. This system
is capable of brewing over 100 gallons at a time! This is one party you don't want to
miss!!
