The
Fifth
Annual Homebrew Alley, took place on
January 30, 2011 at Chelsea Brewing Company. 460 entries were submitted. A team of 44 BJCP judges and 20 stewards participated in the event over the course of two days. See the

Upcoming Competitions
The Guild is encouraging friendly competition aimed at increasing the number of members
homebrewing regularly, and also to enter our best efforts in national and regional competitions:
May 14, 2011: Club-only Competition: Wood Aged Beer This competition covers BJCP subcategory 22C.
We'll judge the best NYCHG entry to send in at our April meeting.

BJCP Classes
The NYCHG is once again sponsoring the BJCP Exam which is scheduled for August 7, 2011. Prep classes will take place every Tuesday night begining
April 26th and are free of charge to all Guild members in good financial standing. Seating for the exam is limitted and class participants will
be given priority.
