Alternative donation means

Donate to the HBD Electronically

For those who would rather donate to the HBD using their credit card or bank account, PayPal can be utilized. PayPal is a web-based service that allows payments via email, drawn on a credit card or bank-transfer funded account with them. I use the service for personal transactions and find it blazingly fast as compared to traditional means and more secure than direct credit card payments - the recipient sees nothing more about you that your PayPal account. You bank and/or credit card information is not transmitted.

Anyway, for any to whom this appeals, click the logo below or follow this link to start your account. Once your set up and verified (took minutes to do), they credit your account with $5. Listing serverfund@hbd.org as your referrer gives the HBD a $5 bonus from PayPal as well!

If donating to the HBD server via this method, be sure to (a) address the payment to email address serverfund@hbd.org and (b) State that you are making a donation to the HBD server in the note field of the transaction. This is important since I use the account for purposes other than the HBD as well.

Make
payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure! If you already have, or don't want a PayPal account, donations to the HBD Server Fund can still be made via credit card via the following link. Once at the PayPal site, you can donate any amount from $5 upward, in increments of $5. Please note that the HBD loses $0.30 plus 2.2% off of the total of each donation. If you wish to donate more than $5, please change the "quantity" field to reflect the multiple of $5 US you wish to donate, rather than make several separate donations of $5. Thanks! Here's the link:

As always, if you'd rather not do the electronic thingy, but still want to help, donations to the Home Brew Digest are appreciated and used to cover its operating expenses - predominantly the maintenance of the server equipment and the domain name. Currently, the Digest has no bank account of its own. Donations must be made payable to   Pat Babcock   in order for the funds to be used. Donations can be mailed to:
