answer to those who have written following my post in Homebrew Digest #2005 (96/04/08) suggesting such a beast as this: here ya go! The Homebrew Digest Brew Buddy Page is born!

Selecting someone in your locale will save you and your Brew Buddy shipping costs; however, it might be more fun to s-t-r-e-t-c-h your bounds a bit!
As you may or may not know, it is illegal to mail beer to some areas (including some of the states in the USA), and any mailings to countries outside of your own must be done in compliance with the customs laws of both countries. It is YOUR responsibility to ascertain any applicable laws regarding the area(s) to which you might choose to send beer by participating in this service.
The appearance of an "ad" on this site does not constitute the legallity of mailing beer to or from any given location, and this site does not advise as to the legality of mailing beer into or out of any locale.
Nuff said...

I think this is a great idea. I'm on a mailing list now for amateur recording engineers and musicians, and this is the main idea of that list. You send your tapes out to other engineers and they send you their's back. It's really interesting.
You might ask if someone sending out their brew could also send a brief description of how it was made, etc. This is *very* helpful in music, maybe not so necessary with beer.
If you're making the list, put me down as an IPA and Pale Ale fan. I'm really new to homebrewing but I tend to get into hobbies very fast.
Thank you.

I prefer lagers, ales, and porters, don't care much for stouts. I am
attempting to grow my own hops and have a well established vine but am
not yet getting much of a harvest due to insect problems. Would
appreciate any advice in this area. Would also be willing to trade hop
vine roots with other growers.
I would like to participate in the mail a beer program. I am also interested in hard cider recipes made out of apple concentrates. My name is Nick Brenner and I live in Marville TN.

Styles I like to Brew:
Hefe Weizens, Dunkel Weizens, Stout, Lagers, Spiced Brews, Brown Ales.
Styles I'd like to Brew.
Porter. Stout w/ coffee (like Black Hook). Better Brown Ales. Black

This is an awesome idea.
I'm interested in stepping up, and going from etract/partial mash, to all-grain.
Thanks. I appreciate your info, and knowledge...back when I was on AOL, you helped me many a time.
Stuart Tinsley.
You're welcome :-)

I brew different styles each month. I love to experiment. I would love to get other brewers beers to try and would love to have to try and critique mine.

I have just moved into a very pristine apartment complex that does not allow propane cookers and I have given up on trying to brew in an all electric kitchen.
I have a lot of equipment including co2 tanks, 8 gallon brew pot with "Easymasher installed, 2- 7 gallon fermenters, 3 "Party Pigs", and "Phils Phalse bottom" and sparging arms, etc.
I would like to share this equipment with another brewer that can do full 6 gallon boils and has a way to chill. (I loaned out my chiller and now he's gone!)
I really enjoy oatmeal stouts and scotch ales. I have a constant supply of rice husks that will let me sparge anything from an all wheat brew to rye flower and NEVER get a stuck run-off!
I also have access to wholesale prices of DME and LME and a complete data base of all grain and extract recipes
This "Brew Buddy" concept has got to be the greatest thing since the "Homebrew Digest was formed! Lets get together and brew on.
"Homebrew is my true love and I'm late for a date!"
Mostly brew ales & meads
Do you know if there is someone interested in a brewing pard in the Manitowoc/Sheboygan, WI area?
