The Homebrew Digest Travel Information
(Help Wanted)
The HBD currently has no database of
brewery and travel information of its own. If you require travel
recommendations and brewery information, beerismylife.com and pubcrawler.com
are both quality sites and have come highly recommended! You might even
contribute updates to them to enhance the value of what they offer.
We are interested in developing a robust, up-to-date and easily searchable
beer travel and brewery review site on the HBD itself. If that sounds like
something right up your alley, and you have the desire to spearhead such a
project, please contact The Webmaster. We envision this being
a team effort. At least one appropriate candidate would be familiar with
mySQL and serving databases via web pages. Pub reviewers, travel advisors
would be required as well, but could be handled via accepting submissions
from the readership via a web-based form.O course, this would require the
means to do quick "admin" functions on the list, such as update and
validate records. Could be grand!
Unfortunately or otherwise, as with all things HBD,
the work pays only the warm feeling you get for contributing :-)
