---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Fri, 15 Jul 2011 14:24:32 +0900 From: "Michael D. Noah" <michael.noah at physaliaos.com> Subject: Rinsing PBW I was speaking with the folks from PBW at the National Homebrewer's Conference last month in San Diego, and I asked them that exact same question. The answer given was that they recommend using the same temperature for both wash and rinse only because they didn't want their users to break any glass by subjecting it to very hot and then very cold water. There was NO other suggestion offered, other than to keep the wash temperature below 140 degrees F, or the PBW will begin to degrade and lose its effectiveness. Hope that helped.
