Date: Mon, 8 Aug 2011 09:23:03 -0400 From: Paul Hethmon <phethmon at hethmon.com> Subject: 2011 Homebruin Cup The Tennessee Valley Homebrewers of Knoxville, Tennessee in conjunction with the Tennessee Valley Fair are holding the 2011 Homebruin Cup competition. Entries are restricted to Tennessee residents and are being accepted now: http://www.knoxhomebrewer.com/ Judging will take place on August 27, 2011 at the Downtown Grill & Brewery in Knoxville. Judges, stewards, and participants can all register on the site. If you are an out of town judge, there is a block of rooms at the Knoxville Crowne Plaze Hotel (only a block away from the judging site) for $99/$109. Just mention the Tennessee Valley Home Brewers when registering to get the rate. We are not expecting a lot of entries this year, so chances of placing are high, please be sure to enter soon. Entries can be mailed to the fair office plus we are having two local drop offs. All the details are on the website. thanks, Paul paul at hethmon.com Return to table of contents
Date: Mon, 8 Aug 2011 14:09:51 -0400 From: Paul Hethmon <phethmon at hethmon.com> Subject: sankey couplers I'm getting ready to purchase a couple of sankey couplers and found that are several different ones out there. At Kegworks: http://www.kegworks.com/ When you go to their keg couplers page, you find 2 regular couplers (at $28 and $30) and 2 stainless (at $33 and $43). So what's the differences between what they have? I can see that some of the others are special, one with a T handle, another low profile, but nothing to tell you what to expect different in the others. thanks, Paul Paul Hethmon Farragut, Tennessee Tennessee Valley Homebrewers Return to table of contents
