Did not hear back within 90 days; therefor, must assume that there are issues and our case must be assigned to an agent. IRS is currently assigning applications received in February 2012. Ours was received in June. We will not have our status reinstated for the 2012 tax year. To current financials, HBD is officially bankrupt in December. Due to recent political developments, HBD.org will be dissolved per the bylaws once funding runs out. J. deLange" <ajdel at cox.net> Subject: EDTA EDTA is used to prevent coagulation of blood and does so by chelating calcium (as does EGTA) so it stands to reason that if yeast flocculation cannot take place unless calcium is present those chemicals should work for yeast too. But I've never noticed that yeast fails to flocculate in starters ior beers made with low calcium water. No calcium might be a different matter. Return to table of contents
